2007 May meeting highlights

1. A special session of the Annual General Meeting was held where the current financial statement was presented to the members and the proposed budget for 2007-2008 was discussed.
2. John Morris gave a wonderful presentation on Charles Dickens and shared many fascinating facts about this great author.
3. “Who’s that kid?” - the May’s group came up an interesting game that involved audience participation.  Everyone was shown photographs of various club members at a very young age and was asked to guess the identity of the persons in the photographs.  Chuckles and laughters were heard throughout the game as the identities were revealed.  We certainly concurred to what Dennis, our president, mentioned afterwards, we WERE all cute “once upon a time”!
