2007 September/Halloween meeting highlights

  1. Many members got together to decorate a beautiful cake containing many NCC related items for the NCC Cake Decoration contest.

  2. First off, we had a Halloween display contest.  Many club members showed off their fantastic creations containing Department 56 items and other interesting display items like a real pumpkin, spiders, ghosts, etc.

  3. To celebrate the upcoming Halloween season, we had a pumpkin trivia test as well as a fun pumpkin carving contest in which participants could either draw on the pumpkin or use their carving talent!

  4. As it was also the fall season, we had an apple trivia test and afterwards, a few of the members were brave enough to bob for apples.

  5. The September group collected close to 200 pounds of food items at the meeting.  Thanks to Lucy and Darlene who took the donation to the Cambridge Food Bank on the club’s behalf.
