2008 January meeting highlights

1. The meeting started off with a D56 word search game.  John Harvey did a great job in creating the game and Darlene won with a total of 20 words found.

2. Lucas Harvey led the “re-gifting exchange” activity by reading a Christmas story.  Every time the word “right” or “left” appeared in the story, participants must pass the gifts in their hands to the same direction.  The tough part of this activity was to make sure that everyone had a gift in his/her hand at all times!

3. The “House Building” contest was next in which each team was given a variety of “building” material.  The object of the game, as the name implies, was simply to build a house.  Based on the photographs from the contest (see below), it was evident that Trillium Village members are all very creative indeed.
