Theme: Christmas
- Christmas vignette display
- The idea was to have members creating displays inside or on gift boxes or gift baskets. As you can see from the photographs here, all displays were created brilliantly with a lot of great ideas.
- Potluck lunch
- Food has always been the essence of our November meetings. This is when every club member brings in a dish to share in our annual potluck lunch. Delicious food, wonderful friendship and holiday fun – what’s not to like?!?!
- Christmas word scramble game
- How good are you to “unscramble”? Don challenged every one to quickly solve a word scramble game to get a “sweet” prize.
- Gift Exchange
- Another November tradition is our gift exchange game when everyone brings in a wrapped gift to exchange in a fun and exciting way. Sometimes, the gifts were so nicely wrapped and packaged that you just wanted to grab it before someone else did. Luckily, the rule of this game is that there is always a second chance to “steal” the gift you have always wanted!
- Penny sale with proceeds going to charity
- The organizing group donated a number of Department 56 or other display items for auctioning. This sale generated a lot of interests among club members. The final tally exceeded $100 and all proceeds raised were donated to a charity in the Welland/Niagara region for purchasing gift cards to the teens.
