- Annual General Meeting - voting took place for various executive positions.
- Club members were asked to suggest a new charity for the current year as the beneficiary of our 50/50 draws’ proceeds.
- Cherie presented ideas for miniature displays using a lantern and a shadow box. She also demonstrated a Easter Box display idea using a cake box with a see-through lid.
- Club members attending the Mid-Atlantic Village Gathering showed off their display contest entry with a gingerbread theme. There was even a loonie placed under one of the houses as a good luck charm.
- “Deal or No Deal” game with a Department 56 twist - the entire audience was divided into 3 groups (Dickens, Alpine, North Pole). Each proceeded to accumulate dollar amounts by picking from 24 “suitcases” (unless they got “busted”). Even the banker rang in at the most opportune time to provide an added twist to the game.
