The club meeting was organized around the Fall theme with decorations around the fireplace mantle.
- “Penny sale” raffle
- the organizing committee was able to secure a large number of older Department 56 lit-houses, accessories and other decorating items and offered them on a fun and exciting raffle; in total, there were at least 30 items being raffled off
- the entire proceed from the raffle sale (which was close to $150) will be donated to a charitable organization
- Informative presentations
- Helen spoke about the Department 56 Chicago convention that took place a week before the club meeting
- Marlene showed us fences that are easy to make from paper-like and plastic material and which look great in our village displays
