- Annual Christmas potluck lunch
- as usual, our food tables were overcrowded with delicious food items, from salad dishes to hot chili, from shrimp cocktail to saucy meatballs
- last but not least, our dessert table was filled with delectable cakes and butter tarts and yummy pastry with a dose of healthy fresh fruits
- Christmas centerpiece display
- three members came up with great ideas for a Christmas display – as you can see from the photographs below, all displays are as unique as one can possibly imagine
- Helen created a display using her Thomas Kinkade Christmas lit-houses in a snowy scene with contrasting red accessories throughout
- John made use of his Dickens’ Village Betsy Trotwood cottage and accessory to create a cozy winter scene within a lit wreath
- Yvette cleverly used marbles and a mirror base to highlight an Eskimo nativity scene
- Christmas gift exchange
- as a group activity that perfectly fits into the theme of the meeting, we had our gift exchange among club members by passing wrapped presents left and right according to the story line of the Wright family
- there were a few mishaps of dropped presents or one person holding 2 presents at a time; but nevertheless, it was all fun and game and we all got to receive a wonderful gift at the end
