2018 January meeting highlights

Theme of the meeting: Snowman
  1. Display contest
    • club members were asked to bring in a display featuring at least 1 Snowman or 1 Snowbaby
    • as you can tell from the photographs below, our members once again came through with flying colours with their creativity and ingenuity.

  2. Yvette gave everyone some history and interesting tidbits of snowman and snow globes

  3. Rick discussed his view on 2018 new releases and spoke about his valiant effort in securing a 2018 Department 56 village brochure (which subsequently was unsuccessful)

  4. Activity of the day was a Word puzzle where everyone had to find a list of given words, all associated with winter, such as activities, holidays, weather, etc, scrambled and mixed in with other letters in a large matrix.
